小学趣味口语课教案,帮助提高孩子的英语口语能力

一、Teaching Objectives(教学目标)

1、知识技能目标: 

1)认识并掌握有关描述人物的单词和词组。 

2)能用英语简单的描述一个人。

3)掌握描述人物的方法。

 

二、教学方法:

Pair work and group work.(结对工作和小组工作。)

Discussion and cooperative learning.(讨论和合作学习。)

Task-based approach.(基于任务的方法。)

 

三、教学步骤:

Step 1: 导入(Warming up)

  Let students look at a picture about Pan Changjiang .Ask students “do you know him?” . The students answered: “He is Pan Changjiang. He is a famous and funny actor. Ok , do you describe him. Now this lesson we are going to learn how to describe a people.

让学生看一张潘长江的照片,问学生“你认识他吗?”“。学生们回答说:“他是潘长江。他是一个著名而有趣的演员。好的,你能描述一下他吗?现在,我们将学习如何描述一个人。

 

Step 2: 知识展示(presentation)

1、引导学生复习和学习有关描述人物单词:

Age: young,middle-aged, old.

Build: heavy,big,slim/thin,of medium build.

Height: tall,short,of medium height.

Hair/Other: black/blonde/brown hair.Long/ short hair/curly/straight hair.

Wear glasses.

Looks: handsome,beautiful,pretty,lovely,ugly.

 

2、Let students look at some pictures and answer the questions,then  describe them.

Eg: Piture1:  1) Who is he?  He is Yaoming.

2) what does he look like?    He is tall and thin.

He is handsome.

3) What’s his hair like?   He has short black straight hair.

4) What does he like?    He likes playing basketball.

5) What does he do?    He is a famous basketball player.

 

Picture2:  1) Who is she?    She is Liu Yifei.

2) What does she look like?  She is tall and slim.  

3) What’s her hair like?   She has long black straight hair.

4) What does she do?    She is an actress.

 

Step 3: 小组合作 (Group work)

1、Divide students into four groups,let them describe each other.

2、Ask a student to describe a student of their groups and other students  guess who is he.

 

Step 4 Practice

1、Let students look at some pictures and describe it.

2、Let students circle the right picture according to the descriptions.

Eg: She is quite tall and thin. She has long,blonde hair.

She wears sunglasses.

The right answer is picture b.

 

Step 5 Summary

  In this lesson , we have learned how to describe a people. When we describe a people, we will use some adjectives to describe. Such as:

young,middle-aged,old,heavy,big,slim/thin,tall,short,black,blonde,brown Long,short hair,curly,straight ,handsome,beautiful,pretty,lovely,ugly and so on.

 

Step 6 Homework

  Have students describe their family members after class.
